IDEA EXCHANGE INITIATIVE (IEI)
The critical role of the supervisor in guiding and developing the next generation of researchers has always been recognized. This initiative is to build a platform for providing Chinese students studying in domestic universities an opportunity to reach out to academics all around the world to exchange thoughts as well as ideas and gain suggestions from big-names in their particular field.
GEC-ASI aims to build a community or a club where phd students, young scholars, and professional researchers, no matter what field or which country they come from, can gather around and connect to each other. We establish this initiative in particular for outstanding domestic phd students who lack resources or access to study abroard. Hearing different perspectives from prestigious researchers across the world are crucial for their research and studying. Such opportunity to different voices can potentially change their academic life. In exchange, with this platform, senior researchers and professors can recruit volunteers who can help his research.
