At the end of July, the 2026 iHUB Summer Research Program came to a successful close, wrapping up another inspiring and unforgettable summer for the iHUB community.

On March 27, 2026, GEC Academy held its 2025 Financial Year Celebration and Awards Ceremony online, marking the start of GEC’s 10th anniversary year.

On January 10th, ASI Global was thrilled to announce the launch of its vibrant new intellectual property (IP), “Xinbao” (心宝).

GEC Academy welcomed the 2025 Fall season with a multi-city product launch tour across Shenzhen, Shanghai, Wuhan, and Chengdu, creating spaces for educators, students, and partners to gather around a shared conversation on future-ready learning.

From early spring to the golden days of autumn, GEC Academy has continued its beloved tradition of celebrating every GECer’s birthday with warmth and joy.

On July 23, the Editorial Committee of the ASI Global “ZiChuang” Cultural Project, in collaboration with the iHUB program, hosted the Hello, Hanzi × iHUB event across its Beijing and Shanghai camps.

On March 24, 2025, GEC Academy hosted its highly anticipated 2024 annual gala in Beijing, bringing together GECers from across China. With a focus on innovation, growth, and the transformative power of AI in education, the 2024 annual gala set the stage for the next chapter of GEC’s journey.

The 2025 iHUB Research Program is bringing the Lantern Festival to life with a series of exciting activities, running from February 8th through the Lantern Festival itself.

During the iHUB Research Program this summer, we have invited GEC Teaching Faculty and friends to step outside their academic roles and immerse themselves in experiences that transcend the classroom, exploring the heartbeat of China in its most vibrant cities – Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.

On June 6th and 7th, the GEC Teaching & Research Center, along with the ASI Global team hosted our quarterly review meeting in the picturesque coastal town of Dongdaihe, Liaoning - celebrated as China’s first royal marine area.

On May 8th, 2024, the GEC Budapest University Handball Championship, proudly sponsored by GEC Academy, concluded with great success.

On March 28, 2024, GEC Academy was bustling with excitement as we hosted a delightful birthday celebration for every GECer born in the first quarter of the year at GEC Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Tianjin, and Chengdu offices simultaneously.

GEC Academy celebrated a year of remarkable achievements at its annual meeting in Beijing on March 8th. The event was a vibrant celebration of dedication, goal-setting, and artistic expression, bringing together staff from across the country.

On February 2, the iHUB campuses in Beijing and Shenzhen captured the essence of this auspicious occasion by organizing a unique calligraphy event titled “Writing Blessings for the New Year.”

On December 22nd, GEC Academy brought a touch of Christmas magic to its end-of-year birthday celebration.

On June 29th, GEC Academy organized a regular employee birthday party dedicated to celebrating the birthdays of all employees in the Beijing office.

Starting from May 2023, GEC Academy has launched two exciting new series on the WeChat Official Account - “GEC Friends” and “GEC London Office Diary”.

In March and April 2023, Edison Yan, President of GEC Academy, and Wendy Wang, Director of GEC Academy's Teaching and Research Department, led a visiting team to the United States for a one-month visiting tour.

At GEC, we held internal review meetings both quarterly and annually to exchange updates on current events and initiatives and find opportunities for improvement with an aim to better support our students, faculty, and staff.

To better connect with teachers working at GEC, we held two gatherings in both Beijing and Shanghai and invited all Academic Writing Instructors who are based near the areas to join us.

Here we can finally say goodbye to the year 2020, a year filled with too many tears and pain, but also some reward and lots of love. We sincerely wish everyone of you a very fulfilled and blessed new year!
