On January 16, GEC Academy concluded its multi-city Product Launch Tour in Beijing, following events in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Wuhan, and Chengdu. Co-hosted by GEC Academy and Oxford University Press (OUP), the Beijing event marked the official launch of the Oxford Test of English Advanced in mainland China, together with the unveiling of GEC’s comprehensively upgraded product portfolio. Themed on Assessing Real-World English Skills, the event brought together language assessment experts and education leaders from China and abroad to explore evolving approaches to English proficiency assessment and their role within globally oriented education pathways.

ASI Global participated in the University Education and Future Talent Development Forum, held on October 24 as part of the 2025 World Young Scientist Summit at Wenzhou-Kean University, where it shared practice-based insights on cultivating internationally competent talent in the context of artificial intelligence and globalization. Through its contribution to the forum, ASI Global highlighted a scalable education model that integrates curriculum design, experiential learning, and ecosystem building, offering concrete pathways to prepare future-ready talent.

In September 2025, ASI Global announced the publication of the second book of its Hello, Hanzi series — a comprehensive learning resource designed for international university students, young learners, and business professionals with no prior experience in Chinese. Developed by the Editorial Committee of the “ZiChuang” Cultural Project and published by Sino-Culture Press, the series embraces the innovations of the AI era to offer a contemporary approach to mastering Chinese characters. Building on the success of the first book launched earlier this year, the new volume continues ASI Global’s mission to promote Chinese language and culture through creative, learner-centered approaches. The book is now officially available to readers worldwide.

From July 24 to 26, ASI Global co-sponsored the 2025 3rd International Conference on Design Science (ICDS 2025), which was successfully held in Shanghai, China. Organized by the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical System and Vibration, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the event brought together over 150 scholars, researchers, professors, and students from China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, and beyond.

ASI Global will officially launch the first book of its brand-new Hello, Hanzi Book Series at the 2025 Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF), with a dedicated release event on Saturday, June 21, from 10:00 to 10:50 AM at the China National Convention Center. On May 27, the AI for Education: Full-Chain Industry-Academia Collaboration Forum took place in Wuzhong, Suzhou. Co-hosted by ASI Global and the Suzhou Innovation Research Institute of Nanjing University, the event brought together Nobel Laureate, educators, scientists, and industry professionals to examine how artificial intelligence is redefining the future of learning through deeper collaboration across sectors.

On March 24, 2025, GEC Academy unveiled a new logo at its annual gala in Beijing, marking a shift in both its visual identity and its vision for the future. Replacing the traditional dot with an infinity symbol, the new logo represents the endless possibilities ahead. This rebrand is a key milestone in GEC Academy’s ongoing commitment to innovation and growth, and leading the way in shaping an innovative and forward-thinking educational landscape in the AI-driven era.

ASI Global, in close collaboration with the Digital Education Futures Initiative (DEFI) at the University of Cambridge, successfully completed the Designing for the Classroom of the Future teacher training course on November 22. ASI Global has been vigorously promoting the idea of AI-empowered education throughout 2024, and actively led initiatives to address the shifting demands of the digital education sector. On October 25, GEC Academy and Laser Learning Awards held a signing ceremony at the GEC London Office to celebrate our exclusive partnership. We are thrilled to announce that GEC is now the sole provider in China authorized to offer the LASER Level 3 Award in Research Skills for Academic Study.

On September 23, GEC Academy held a relocation ceremony at its new headquarters on the 16th floor of Tower A, China Resources Times Center, Beijing. The event was a lively occasion, broadcasted live to all branch offices, allowing employees across the world to share in this significant milestone. Since its founding in 2016, GEC Academy has grown from a challenger in its early stages to an industry pioneer. On September 6th, ASI Global has officially signed an agreement with the National Department of Public Works and Infrastructure of South Africa to launch the Construction Talent Development Program, a strategic initiative designed to elevate the skills of professionals in South Africa’s construction sector.
